amFOSS-Freshers Test
Here in this blog I will be telling about my experience with the test I had I'm amFOSS club .
PREPARATION:
Just before 1 week of the test I came to know about it. So I had only 3-5 days to prepare for the test. I was preparing dedicatedly for the test and finally I was ready to face it. I was quite confident that I can to do it well and went there to the lab.
THE TEST:
I was bit nervous when I entered the lab but managed there. When seniors gave the instructions I came to know it was not really a test but a set of tasks to complete.We were given 8 tasks and were asked to complete them in three hours . Among the 8 only 6 were real tasks and the other two were submitting what we did. When I came through the tasks it seemed really interesting for me and I started doing it with a great interest.
THE TASKS:
The first one was very easy and the real challenge started from the second one . In second task we were asked to download an image greyscale it , rotate it and flip it horizontally. It took almost 1 hour for us to complete it. Then remaining tasks were easy . Next we had a file of unknown format we had to open it and inside that we had a protected file. Inside that we had a Hacker Rank Link. We opened the link had a Secret message which is the answer for one question and also 2 problems . When I started solving the problems almost the time was over and we had to submit a issue about how much we completed . So I filled the issue and finally submitted it .
HOSTEL SCENES:
I came back to hostel and started doing the remaining tasks . Only few were remaining and I completed everything except Hacker Rank Problem. I updated it in the issue also .
It was really fun doing the tasks and thanks for all seniors who helped us . I beleive I gave my best and let me hope for good .
